How fees work
Insurance we work with
We bill most PPO plans and some other commercial plans for evaluations and follow-up visits, and we confirm your benefits before your first visit. Some of our prescribers are enrolled with Medicare. We do not bill Medicaid. If we are out of network with your plan, you can still see us and pay yourself.

If you pay yourself
If you pay yourself, you get each fee in writing before you book. An evaluation, a follow-up visit and a therapy session are separate fees, and each is the same for every client. HSA and FSA cards usually work. We ask for 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a visit.

Receipts for reimbursement
If we are out of network with your plan, we can send an itemized receipt, called a superbill, after each visit. It lists a diagnosis code, which your plan will see. Your plan decides whether to pay you back, and reimbursement is not guaranteed.
An estimate in advance
If you pay without insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the cost of your care before you start, and we give you one in writing in advance. If a bill comes to $400 or more above the estimate, you can dispute it. The estimate is not a contract.
Checking your benefits
Before your first visit, our billing team checks your benefits for psychiatric visits and tells you what we find: whether we bill your plan, and what your plan says you owe. We can't promise what a plan will pay.
